Christopher Esber Harmoniously blending structured silhouettes with fluid drape, Esber subverts the notions of convention with design concepts informed by his background in tailoring, use of negative space and sculptural hardware, creating new silhouettes that inspire ideas of escapism and sensuality. Inspired by the idea of a working woman daydreaming of a holiday or escape, he mixes codes of office wear with beach culture, exploring the contrasting tension between the two. Structure, sensuality and a connection to nature remain consistent throughout each collection. The designer works with deconstruction and reconstruction, designing by subtraction to work an idea down to its purest form, creating a new take on relaxed glamour.
